eflow joins Continua Health Alliance as Contributor Member

Tokyo, Japan - February 17, 2010 - eflow Inc. (Tokyo, Shibuya-ku, Yoyogi – CEO: Koichi Makabe) today announced that it has joined the Continua Health Alliance, a non-profit, open industry alliance of more than 220 leading healthcare and technology companies, as a Contributor Member, and that its high value-add software solutions and technologies can help to extend personal health management to information appliances, letting them interact with the Continua-certified healthcare and fitness devices, and the healthcare services cloud.

eflow is committed to supporting the vision of the Alliance of a truly seamless healthcare network of interoperable personal health solutions, where the individuals are empowered, by bringing enhanced personal health services to the next-generation information appliances, such as smart tablet devices. Data acquired from Continua-certified devices can be displayed, browsed, and managed on the information appliance, and uploaded to the healthcare cloud for remote patient monitoring and targeted feedback by the care givers.

On the healthcare device

• Applications running on the CloudRunner platform on a given device can run on any other device that has CloudRunner, offering easy portability.

On the server
