Scanline is a high-quality movie and still-image codec that is implemented entirely by software. Thanks to its 100% software implementation, Scanline can be used with a variety of devices.

- Scanline automatically adjusts the bandwidth that it uses to match whatever bandwidth enables you to play the movie smoothly, even over an unstable connection. (The maximum bandwidth that can be used is 670 kbps).

- The time required to encode a movie is at most the run time of the movie.
The file size of an encoded movie is 720 MB per hour (12 MB per minute).

- Scanline supports a variety of file formats, such as Microsoft Office, PDF, and a variety of image formats. The various file formats are converted using our specialized printer driver.
