Scanline

Scanline is a high-quality movie and still-image codec that is implemented entirely by software. Thanks to its 100% software implementation, Scanline can be used with a variety of devices.

Features

High-Resolution Image Presentation
Compared with the movie technology used by existing mobile phones, Scanline produces incredibly high-resolution images that contain no block noise.
Scanline uses dithering for image quality correction. This results in highly detailed still images even if they are zoomed in or zoomed out.
Support for Long Movies and for Documents That Span a Large Number of Pages
 
Bandwidth Efficiency
Scanline automatically adjusts the bandwidth that it uses to match whatever bandwidth enables you to play the movie smoothly, even over an unstable connection. (The maximum bandwidth that can be used is 670 kbps).
Support for Multiple Resolutions of a Single Movie Source through the Employment of Our Proprietary Compression-Decompression Algorithms.
You can view a single source in multiple viewers such as QVGA and WVGA.

Scanline supports a variety of formats such as MPEG, WMV, FLV, and AVI.
Can Be Run from within Microsoft Windows Environments
You can use batch commands to carry out multiple encodings at the same time.
Other Information about the Encoder
The time required to encode a movie is at most the run time of the movie.
The file size of an encoded movie is 720 MB per hour (12 MB per minute).

Supported File Formats
Scanline supports a variety of file formats, such as Microsoft Office, PDF, and a variety of image formats. The various file formats are converted using our specialized printer driver.
Can Be Run from within Microsoft Windows Environments
You can use batch commands to carry out multiple encodings at the same time.
Other Information about the Encoder
The file size of an encoded still image is 90 MB per 300 pages (300 KB per page).
